Communications specialist: Two way radio technician, wired and wireless intercom specialist, as well as assembling a wide variety of audio rental packages for television production, live events, commercial, documentary, and theater production with an emphasis on wireless audio. Working closely with the video department to integrate audio and video packages.
Responsibilities and requirements:
• Have a good understanding of basic electronic principles and components
• Have some understanding of the fundamentals of wireless microphones
• Organize and pack equipment for local use and for shipment
• Be organized and possess an attention to detail
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have general computer skills for rental and equipment software utilization
Education:
• Associates degree or college degree
Experience:
• Some audio industry experience preferred.
• Front of house experience
• Have a proficient knowledge of signal flow, audio connections, hardware and gear applications
